Applications for Funding
The Zonta Club of Bunbury's 2022 application for funding process for projects in our local community closed on Friday 30th September.  If a second round is offered, it will be advertised on our facebook page.

Zonta International's aim is to build a better world for women and girls and clubs contribute to the Zonta International Foundation to support Zonta's global projects and programs to fulfil this aim. Most clubs, including ours, donate one third of the funds raised to International Projects and Programs.

Further funds are directed to District Projects - the Zonta Birthing Kit Project, Zonta Breast Care Cushion Project and Mental Health First Aid Project are our present District 23 projects. Open the links to learn more.

Funding is also reserved each year for Local Community Projects. Non-profit organisations that offer programs that address Zonta's aim are able to apply to the Zonta Club of Bunbury for assistance with funding. Prospective applicants should read the funding guidelines to ascertain if their project fits the Zonta Club of Bunbury criteria. The number of projects funded through our funding process, and amount of funding granted, depend on the success of club fundraising activities.

Applicants are informed of the outcome of their application at least 4 weeks after the closing date. The Board's assessment and members' endorsement of recommendations at a club meeting are part of the whole process, and this takes some time. We are not able to make 'snap' decisions,  so advanced planning by groups applying for funding is crucial. If funding is granted, successful applicants are required to forward an *Evaluation and Acquittal Form when the project has been completed.
*Please note: Further grants will not be considered unless this evaluation and acquittal form has been received.
