Centennial Cinematic Celebration and Amateur Short Film Competition
Saturday 9th November 2019: Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre, 3.00 pm
Supported by major sponsors - the City of Bunbury and the South Western Times
2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of the founding of Zonta International, and to acknowledge this momentous occasion, the Zonta Club of Bunbury is planning a big celebration... a Cinematic Celebration!
More details will be announced soon, but as a part of this celebration we will be hosting an amateur short film competition. There are two (2) categories - Youth and Open - with a $1000 award on offer to the winner of each category! All you need to do is submit a short film that is no longer than five (5) minutes, and reflects Zonta's centennial theme - stories that honour and empower women.
Sound good? If you are interested in being involved and would like to know more, head to the link below, fill in the online form, and we will send you a competition pack.
Entries close on Monday 21st October.
We sincerely thank Lomax for their wonderful support with our special film event!
We acknowledge and sincerely thank the following businesses who have providing generous sponsorship and support for our centennial celebrations and film competition.
One hundred years ago, a small group of pioneering women came together in Buffalo, New York with a vision to help all women realise greater equality while using their individual and collective expertise in service to their community.
Their vision became Zonta International, an organisation that has grown to more than 29,000 members in 63 countries, working together to make gender equality a reality for women and girls worldwide.
8 November 2019 marks Zonta International’s centennial anniversary.
We are seeking further sponsorship and invite interested parties to download our sponsorship package and contact us.
